The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time reborn overview trailer showcases Nintendo Switch 2 features

Nintendo has released an overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, completely reborn for the Nintendo Switch 2 and launching on 5th November.

Nintendo has released a brand-new overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, showcasing enhanced visuals and new gameplay elements ahead of the game’s launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 system on 5th November.

The title invites players to join a young Link and a guiding fairy named Navi on an adventure across the kingdom of Hyrule in search of the mythical Triforce. This reborn version introduces real-world microphone interaction, allowing the Nintendo Switch 2 microphone to hear hummed or played melodies on an actual instrument and cause Link’s in-game ocarina to respond.

Additionally, the game features the Hall of Fallen Heroes, where players can view statues of defeated monsters to learn about them or engage in rematch battles. The release includes overhauled visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, and a full symphonic orchestral music score, arriving as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the original The Legend of Zelda game.

Support is also included for ZELDA NOTES via the Nintendo Switch App for compatible smart devices. Furthermore, two new compatible amiibo figures launching in 2027 will unlock special in-game masks, while existing series amiibo figures will provide useful rewards when tapped during gameplay.
