Apple has kicked off App Store Indie Games Week, a week-long celebration of independent developers and their games. Seven acclaimed indie titles are making their way to iPhone and iPad as part of the event, including Sifu, Vampire Crawlers and No Man’s Sky.
Throughout the week, Apple will feature daily stories and curated collections on the App Store. Alongside the three headline games, the selection includes Little Kitty, Big City, 9 Kings, Dome Keeper and Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall.
Sifu Gets Custom Controls for iPhone and iPad
Martial arts action game Sifu has been reworked for its mobile release. The iPhone and iPad version features custom-tuned touch controls, a redesigned camera system and full controller support.
Sifu follows a young kung fu student seeking revenge against those responsible for the death of their family. Combat requires players to dodge precisely, parry incoming attacks and string together fast combinations. Objects found in the environment can also be turned into weapons.
Vampire Survivors Spin-Off Trades Bullets for Cards
Vampire Crawlers is another of the featured releases. This Vampire Survivors spin-off swaps the original game’s bullet-filled battles for a mixture of dungeon crawling and deck building.
Players expand their card deck during each run, search for powerful combinations and uncover valuable relics. The familiar monsters and dark humour of Vampire Survivors remain part of the experience.
The Full No Man’s Sky Experience Is Coming to Mobile
The most surprising announcement may be the mobile version of No Man’s Sky. The space exploration game launches for iPhone and iPad on October 28, 2026, with pre-orders available now. According to developer Hello Games, this is not a simplified “Lite” edition. It contains more than 40 major updates, including the recent Cosmos update.

The game runs on iPhone 11 and third-generation iPad Air devices or newer. Hello Games has rebuilt the touch controls from the ground up, while also supporting controllers, TV casting and mouse-and-keyboard controls on iPad. The studio says the download size is less than 4GB.
There are some limitations. Planetary Settlements are only supported on iPhone 15 Pro and newer devices, while the mobile edition will not include multiplayer at launch. No Man’s Sky will be free to try when it releases, after which players can unlock the complete game through a one-time purchase.
