Blizzard’s latest World of Warcraft hotfix pass gives several specializations a direct boost while trimming some of PvP’s sharpest burst windows.
Raid damage gets a careful push
Balance Druids receive a 4% increase to all damage, while Feral gains 3% overall damage alongside stronger auto-attacks and Rip. Blizzard says Feral is already performing well in Mythic+, so the changes are aimed primarily at improving single-target and raid performance.
Devastation Evokers and Arcane Mages also gain 3% ability damage. Holy Priests receive a substantial 20% increase to both Holy Word: Serenity and Holy Word: Sanctify healing, while Restoration Shaman healing rises by 4% outside PvP.
PvP burst comes under pressure
The PvP side of the update is more surgical. Devourer Demon Hunters lose part of the speed and cooldown benefit from Temporal Burst. Frost Mage pressure is redistributed away from Ray of Frost, and Retribution Paladin ability damage is reduced by 3% in PvP.
Discipline Priest Voidweaver damage is also being pulled back, with compensating healing improvements intended to keep the specialization competitive without letting its offensive output dominate matches.
Guild take
This is a meaningful tuning pass rather than simple maintenance. Raid groups should notice the class buffs immediately, while arena players may get slightly more time to react to the strongest burst setups. The real test will be whether Feral’s raid gains land without pushing an already capable Mythic+ profile too far.
