Overwatch Community Crafted Lets Creators Rewrite Almost the Entire Roster

Overwatch’s Community Crafted mode hands four creators the balance tools and lets them reshape almost every hero. The result is deliberately less cautious than a standard competitive patch.

D.Va can turn absorbed damage into stronger Self-Destruct output, while other heroes receive role changes that would be too disruptive for an ordinary update. Because the mode runs separately from the core game, experimentation becomes the point rather than a risk.

The Guild verdict

Community Crafted is valuable even when individual ideas are outrageous. It reveals what players miss about certain heroes and gives Blizzard a concentrated set of reactions to study.
