Dead by Daylight has celebrated its tenth anniversary with a community event in Montreal, developer panels, art, cosplay and a broadcast looking toward Year 10.
A game built through repetition
Few multiplayer games turn familiar spaces into fresh stories as effectively. The same generator, window or hook can become the centre of a completely different match depending on four Survivors and one Killer.
The Guild verdict
Ten years is more than a content milestone. It proves that readable rules, strong horror identities and a committed community can support an asymmetric game far beyond its original launch window.
