Gears of war: e-day launches on geforce now alongside ten new cloud games

Gears of War: E-Day arrives on GeForce NOW following its global release, spearheading a ten-game cloud update that includes Fire TV purchase integration.

Gears of War: E-Day has officially launched on GeForce NOW following its global release on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. The prequel is set fourteen years prior to the original title, following Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they face the initial arrival of the Locust Horde on Emergence Day. Ultimate tier members can stream the game leveraging GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud, utilizing technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex.

The service allows players to access campaign missions alongside cooperative and competitive modes across low-power laptops, Macs, mobile devices, handhelds, and web browsers like Firefox without requiring massive downloads or local hardware. In addition to the headline release, the platform is expanding accessibility with Fire TV users soon gaining the ability to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon in the coming weeks.

New additions to the cloud library

This week’s update introduces ten total titles to the streaming library, comprising seven new releases alongside three existing titles. The newly released additions feature Gears of War: E-Day on Steam and Xbox via Game Pass, STAR WARS: Galactic Racer on Steam, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival on Steam, Forever Ago on Steam, Order of the Sinking Star on Steam, Silver Pines on Steam, and Permafrost on Steam on October 9. They are joined by Graveyard Keeper 2, Solasta II, and Tyr.

Meanwhile, the Xbox version of Dune: Awakening did not arrive on the cloud platform in September as previously indicated, with updates to follow in future GFN Thursday announcements. NVIDIA noted that game availability may vary as titles are onboarded following their initial store releases.

Users wishing to evaluate the platform can utilize a day pass to test performance before committing to a monthly subscription, with the cost of the pass eligible to be applied toward an initial monthly membership.
